Crazy

So yeah, it's been a bit....well ok like 2 months...but who's counting right? It isn't like my readership is all that large anyways.....i don't see anyone clammoring for another spot of epicly wandering writing.

Well I'm going to go ahead and write one anyways....why...well it is monday, it was an absolutely insane weekend, and i would rather vent in writing then be productive here in my wee little cubicle, that sometimes seems to be just a little bit bigger than myself.

THis weekend. Craziness abounding, but the major spot of surrealism was Saturday. I shot my first wedding as a photographer....man.....i think it might be my last as well. First of all i don't reccomend having to drive 4 hours pre and post wedding, not something thats exactly wise or healthy in my modest opinion. Anywho it was a friend from college that conned me into doing the job for her...at least it was an educational experience.

Well the silver lining is, i am finally done with this year's wedding season. one of the longest to date. i pulled groomsman's and usher's duty, i painted a portrait during a couple's ceramony (yeah, sarah and chuck im still doing finall touch-ups), DJ'd a reception, and finally photographed this last one, with many just general attendance opportunities thrown in the midst of all of the above as well. It's been a full year looking back.

So i finally succumbed and got a facebook account....it's amazing the people you find on here, bringing back some great memories from college and such. so much retrospective this weekend, with the wedding, facebook discoveries, and other small things not worth mentioning...nostalgia...such an odd thing.

well this blog is going nowhere and i cna't think of any outstanding humerous stories to relate....so i will wrap this up by recommending the music of Damien Rice which i know is old news but man...i cannot get enough of his stuff, and he does have a new cd coming out this month that will be jsut amazing.
