Fuzzy

I could not tell you how long it has been since i hvae been this sick for this long. At this point it's been a little over a week of feeling like crap...and well...i'm fed up with it.

In correlation with the ongoing plague in my body i have been trying to combat it with all kinds of stuff including actifed, nyquil, tylanol, HALLS couth drops, among other random things people have suggested i try...as i havent been this sick in who knows how long, i also could not tell you the exact date or time i hvae had this many drugs in my body....which is making my brain a bit fuzzy. this is causing me to do some odd things, not necessarily outlandish ...just a bit odd....like eating snickers bars at 10 in the morning or thinking that doubling the usual dosage of nyquill is a good idea, and downing HALLS like candy...wonderful menthol infused candy!

The above image is me playing with my action figures and a cool way to build a soft box that i found at www.strobist.com. a whole afternoon of fun with me and superman...or something like that. It's ironic i enjoyed this so much as in college i avoided being a photo major mostly due to the class of product photography....spending 3 hours setting up a shoot for sunglasses or a bottle of perfume, or watches...well that just didnt appeal to me in so many ways. Maybe if they had covered shooting toys i would have been in for it....who knows...all i know is this was fun and had almost convinced myself that going to Wally-World to invest in an armload of toys was a wise decision. Dont worry i didnt...but everyt i have to pick up something at teh W-Mart i seriously consider picking something up.

Well there's not a whole lot more to cover for the moment so i will leave you with the insistant reccommendation you visit http://music.aol.com/songs/new_releases_full_cds and listen to the full CDs coming out this week, might i suggest the new Five for Fighting album?

ok im out.

Moved

Here are a couple of views out one of the windows of my newly rented apartment...ok so newly is somewhat subjective as it has almost been 3 weeks, but i have been so busy, i havent had much time to actually sit and enjoy the quiet independance of it all.
It is good to finally be out on my own, though within two weeks of moving i am now sick and havent had the time or energy to keep organizing and figuring out where everythign goes, so everything is still a bit scattered. Of course i still dont have book shelves so the absurd number of boxes of books that i have are still sitting on teh living room/studio floor against the wall waiting to be shelved for all teh world, or at least for my guests to marvel at.

So i'm curious if yo can OD on Halls cough drops...i mean i dont think the human body is exactly meant to take in all that manthol and whatever other heavenly things they put in these things that soothe the insanely obnoxious pain resting uncomfortably in my throat.

so today i found a website that has magazine subscriptions for impressively cheap, yeah theres all kinds of crap like Maxim and stuff in there but theres some good buys in there if you dig. and now i can get some fun mail in teh currently empty mailbox at my new place.

well i guess thats it for me now, im still a bit fuzzy from all this decongestant and cold medicine. But before i leave i must reccomend to you Mat Kearney's debut album, "Nothing Left TO Lose". It resides somewhere inbetween Coldplay and Citizen Cope. Enjoy!!!

Sporadic

So i have not attended to this thing they a call blog near as much as i would like.
it seems when i come to post i have so little to say, but i thought that maybe if i just keep posting stuff continually i may actually get something worth posting posted. untill that time here's some art i have been working on. Just a sketch that came out of some ideas i'm working on for this year's CS Lewis Festival here in Northern Michigan.

CHeck out the new album by The Zutons. i don't actually have the cd as it seems no where locally has it, but the stuff i listened to on their myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/thezutons) soudns just thrillingly entertaining and fun.
