Ok, so at the end of the day, yesterday just before I was about to leave, I hand my boss, Jake, a proof of an exhibition display design that I had been working on. He asked me what I thought of it to which I replied truthfully, "it's ok."
"just ok?"
"yeah, just ok. Look Jake, with all the projects I have going at the same time I’m just feeling a bit drained.....sucked dry."
"sucked dry?"
"yeah, I’m trying to re-brand one company, and brand from scratch another. I have so many designs I’m trying to come up with I'm feeling sucked dry of any creativity"
"sucked dry."
"yeah."
"well what can we do to get the juices flowing again?"
"that’s the problem, Jake, I have no idea...."
"hmmmmm....what if I buy some popsicles?"
"........popsicles?"
"yeah. Popsicles!!!"
"um.....Jake.....I don't think popsicles are going to solve the dilemma of my creative burnout."
"so no popsicles?"
"I didn’t say that. if you want to buy popsicles for us, that’s great, but I don’t think its going to solve my problem...but definitely not going to stop you from buying popsicles."
"so popsicles?"
To which I replied with a heavy sigh, " yeah, Jake.....popsicles."
so yeah that’s my boss.......popsicles was the first thing that came to mind to solve my problem of creative burn out....where does he get this stuff??!?!?!
