Back again with something new

So here i am again, my first day back to blogging here, and i am already back for seconds. Chalk it up to being excited about this new piece of art that i "finished" tonight. I am pretty happy with it, it still needs some tweaking and has only driven in teh fact that i need a drawing tablet for this kind of thing. But anywho, i just wnated to share the above illustration with whoever is wandering around this page full of blatherings.

While i am here i might as well rant a bit on the weather conditions of my birthplace, Northern Michigan. Today was absolutely gorgeous: sunny, high 40s or low 50s and just gorgeous. It's yesterday's weather and its slightly schizophrenic jump to todays wonderfulness that bothers me. Let me just say that yesterday on my home from work i had the immense joy of watching some absolute dunderhead tailgate a cop.....in a blizzard!!!! Thats right, you read correctly: a blizzard! This little piece of idiocy i got to follow for about 10 miles or so up the western coast of my home state, along the blustery shores of Lake Michigan. So obviously the heat was cranked and teh windows shut tight against the chill breath of Old Man Winter and his second coming. Now that was yesterday, and frankly the day before...at least in terms of weather.

Today: see weather descroption above, absolutely gorgeous. as it was last week. So today i had the windows cranked down thouroughly enjoying the invigorating spring air.......yesterday blizzard......What the crap!?!?!?!?!

Tomorrow is supposedly going to get warm again soon, im mildly pumped due to the fact that it is my day off and i plan on taking a drive into town to hang out and get some freelance work done....ohy thats right, for those of you who havent kept up with the life of Michael (why would you?), i have started my own little freelance design, illustration and photography business on the side of my work at Redi-Rock International as in-house graphic designer. anywho thats enough between the abundance of writing between 2 blogs in one day. As i have already left you with both movie and music recs today i will proceed to something literary. If you are into some scathing satire may i suggest "Thank You For Smoking" by Christopher Buckley....laugh out loud irony...can't beat it.
