Art and Books

So this post is mostly just to preview the above piece of art which you would most likely have seen already if you have recently visited my MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/hendersonrocks), but for those of you who havent here it is.

While i am here why not rant a bit though right?

OK so maybe not a rant maybe just a bit of obsessiveness about reading and books.

So if you havent figured out, or dont no yet; I am a confessed bookaholic and compulsive book buyer. One consequence to this is being in between at least 6 books at a time, but mostly 7-8. Absurd? Yeah i know, but what can i do its how im built...natural body type of a reader and all that (ie non-athletic).
The book that is currently capturing my attention is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. This is one of those books that remind you why you love to read. from the first page it grabs you and refuses to let you go. It is teh type of book that has you thinking "when is the next time i can fit in reading this book?" or "i wish i could read and drive/work at the same time." It is just that good.

Now for those of you that aren't "readers".....WHY THE HECK NOT!!!???!

sorry i know thats a bit obtuse of me to think that way, but....well....i guess ill chak it up to the same way i dont get into watching sports on tv....though i do tend to enjoy watching games of great importance with friends who are into watching the games...it cracks me up....but probably for all the wrong reasons....ah well cest le vie right?

Anywho, go pick the book up it is amazing. I am pumped about books today as a book i ordered should be in at the bookstore today as well as a new grpahic novel i have been waiting for which is released as of last week. Batman: Dark VIctory and Ex Machina: Vol 3 respectively....oh yeah i forgot to mention im also a comic book geek for those who were unaware.

well thats that...i included teh media review in my post....i know who sneaky of me right? I am humble too folks....its a great combination;)
